Lost at sea is a comedy/romance graphic novel which is written by Bryan Lee O’Malley. This novel was first published in 2003 by Oni Press. This novel describes about the shy who is 18 years old Releigh about her coming of age who thinks that she has no soul. She used to have a cat and that is also stolen from her. Now she is on a road trip across the United States, with some of the kids from her school, whom she hardly knows. Releigh is on the road trip, she has visited her boyfriend and her father in California and now she is coming back home to Vancouver with Stephanie, Dave and Iran along with some of the kids from her high school to whom she hardly knows, she met all of t5hem by chance In California after she has missed her train.

While she was on the trip then at that time she has a lot of time to think about her boyfriend Stillman. She has met her boyfriend on the internet and she has a belief that she has no friend and this is because she has no soul; for her mother who has sold it to the devil when she was in the age of fourteen only. Not only this but her parents has got divorced and her best friend has moved away to Ottawa.
