In the yesterday’s episode of American Idol Season 9 held on 20th January, Matt Lawrence has been included in the final 12 contestants. It was really awkward for Matt to get selected because having a criminal record; he was not eligible for this contest of Indian Idol 9. Matt had spent several years in jail because he had robbed a bank when he was just 15 years old.

But the judges of American Idol Season 9 were absolutely flabbergasting red when Matt Lawrence performed in front of them. In fact the audience was also swept away from their feet by such an enthralling performance of Matt. Matt received 4 yes from the jury members and now would be performing with the other contestants for the final 12 of American Idol.
