Results Declared of 103rd Millrose Games

On 29th of January 2010 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, the 103rd Millrose Games were held in which champion medalists from various games and Olympics participated in it. The Millrose Games is the longest running annual event ever in the history of any championship event.

The results of this championship event have been declared recently and the top participants who claimed victory were Priscilla Lopes, Bershawn Jackson, Lisa Barber and Bernard Lagat who has won eight titles in a row. It was unfortunate for top players like Veronica Campbell and Daniel Bailey to lose in the women’s and men’s single dashes respectively.

The noted champion Ryan Brathwaite was defeated in the men’s hurdle match of 60 meters and Ivory Williams came in first. The 2nd and 3rd place went to Michael Rodgers and Travis Padgett; both belonging to USA. In the men’s 600 yard run, Bershawn Jackson came in first. Boaz Lalang came in first in the 800 meter race for men. Bernard Lagat won the 1 mile race for men and in the 60 meters hurdle Terence Trammell came in first. In the men’s shot put visa, Thomas Jacob Freeman of US was the winner.

As far as the women’s result of the 103rd Millrose Games was concerned, Lisa Barber of US came in first in the 60 meter dash and Monica Hargrove dominated the 400 meters dash. Priscilla Lopes was the winner of 60 meters hurdles and in the 1 mile run Hannah England was the champion.
