Scott Brown Wins Massachusetts Senate Election

Finally the result of the Massachusetts election for the post of senate has been declared. Scott Brown of Republican tops the senate race for Massachusetts by defeating Martha Coley of Democrat. This election was going on a neck to neck battle right from the beginning until Brown was the ultimate winner. The results have been published just a few minutes ago. This election was one of the closest elections ever for the post of Senate. It wasn’t evident who is going to win right from the start of this election battle. At one time Coley was dominating and at the other point Brown was having an edge over Coley. With Republican Party having won the senate elections, it would be interesting to see what will be the reaction of the US president Barack Obama.
The final results of the election for the Massachusetts Senate Race are as follows: Scott Brown got 52% of the votes, Martha Coley received 47% of the votes and the remaining 1% of he wishes went in the favor of Joe Kennedy. With Scott Brown winning the election, it would have serious complications for the US President’s agenda in Washington. Coley was the personal favorites of many people and was likely to win the election but the results took an unexpected turn and Brown surged ahead of the race. With Obama about to introduce the health reforms, it would be interesting to see whether he would be able to succeed on that or not.
