The 11th episode of Season 9 Small Ville was titled as ‘Absolute Justice’ in which Sylvester Pemberton made an appearance. It was a 2 hour episode in which Pemberton was searching for a woman named Chloe and tracks her down. On finally locating her, Pemberton tells Chloe that he would be killed by Icicle. Since Chloe has a group of super heroes with her, Pemberton seeks her help in saving himself from getting killed. The role of Icicle is played by Wesley Macinnes.

Chloe agrees to meet with Pemberton but before the meeting could take place, Pemberton is attacked by Icicle and is finally killed. This causes a lot of tension for Chloe and she begins to search for the killer of Pemberton. For this, she seeks the help of Clark who leads her to the HQ of Justice Society of America where they come across Dr. Fate. Chloe is desperate to provide justice to Pemberton by killing his murders but she does not get the requisite support from her friends.
